Shipping Policy

SHIPPING

Some items are finished and in-stock, and some items are made to order. If you have purchased an item from our On the Shelf page, it is in-stock and will be packaged and shipped (or hand delivered for local delivery) within 3 business days from purchase. If you purchased Pre-Order items, these are made to order and typically have a lead time of 3-4 weeks before going out for shipping. 

EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

All orders will receive shipping updates and tracking number (tracking not applicable to local delivery) emails, as well as notice of delivery emails. 

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your order, please email us within 24 hours of purchase (emails should be subjected as "Cancellation Request"). We try to get your orders packaged and shipped as quickly as possible. If your order has shipped already and you would like to cancel, please see the Returns page for more details. 

LEAD TIMES

If you are curious about lead times for pre-order items, please reach out so we can get you an estimate. 

DAMAGED ITEMS

If you receive an item that has been damaged during shipping, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with photos and details of damage. Although we cannot ensure replacement of items, as many are one of a kind, we are happy to work with you on finding a solution. 

LIABILITIES

VESSEL is not liable for lost or stolen packages or damages to items incurred during shipping. VESSEL releases responsibility upon transfer of order to the shipping carrier. VESSEL will not be held responsible for additional shipping charges incurred if packages are returned to due to customer absence, errors in shipping addresses, or package refusal.

Low-waste, renewable practices

All of our waste clay and water gets recycled to become new work.

Packaging materials are reused or recyclable (including our packing peanuts - they're biodegradable!).
